I started in electrical engineering — a bachelor's degree, then several years working in the field, plus time in sales and marketing. That mix turned out to matter later: I learned how businesses actually work before I learned how to measure them.

In 2018 I took my first role as a data analyst, and it opened a door I never closed. In 2020 I was admitted to the Big Data Systems and Business Analytics programme at HSE Moscow. I studied there for a year, paused during the pandemic, and joined AVA Digital Banking as a BI developer. A year later, the war in Ukraine ended my plans to continue in Russia, and I moved to Germany to finish my education here. Alongside all of this, I completed an MBA online.

After moving to Berlin, I worked remotely as a BI consultant with Researchyar, delivering end-to-end data warehouse and analytics projects for two clients in fintech and digital streaming. Today I hold an MSc in Data Science, a PL-300 certification, and four years of hands-on experience across the Microsoft data stack. I'm currently studying software engineering at 42 Berlin and looking for my next role in BI and data in Germany.
